Activities in and around Weardale

Lands Farm is within an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty. There are many picturesque walks taking in views of the unspoilt scenery of open moorland, beautiful streams and waterfalls flowing into the River Wear.

The area is renowned for its dry stone walls, grazing sheep and rich wild flower meadows. There are many visitor attractions within driving distance, Raby Castle, Beamish Museum Killhope Wheel and Hadrians Wall to name but a few. Newcastle, Durham and the market towns of Hexham and Barnard Castle are within easy access.
